Duo Laminate D-Soles are the ideal insert for the diabetic foot. The unique D-Soles combine moldable Plastazote with an expanded urethane base in the optimal configuration for maximum protection that won’t bottom out. Plastazote offers total contact and maximum pressure distribution.
The Duo Laminate D-Soles feature a thick, shaped heel cup for superior cushioning and a thinner forefoot area to help avoid forefoot restriction. D-Soles are available in two different models with a uniform 1⁄8" Plastazote sock liner, or thicker 1⁄4" model. The thicker 1/4" model can be heat molded to the foot before insertion into the shoe or can be used as is in extra-depth shoes. Heat in a 300°F convection oven for two minutes to soften the D-Soles for molding. All D-Soles are generously sized and intended to be trimmed to the exact shoe insole shape. Duo Laminate D-Soles sizing is based on shoe size.
